Museum Hosts Holiday Open House
Lafayette, October 2006 - The Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum will host a Holiday Open House on Friday Dec. 1 from 4 to 6 p.m. during the Festival of Lights in the Oil Center. This event is free and open to the public.
Join the community for refreshments, dancing and music during this casual family event in the A Hays Town Building at the Museum. The exhibitions “Photorealist Paintings from the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Collection,” Image and Word” and “Water and Light: James McNeill Whistler's Etchings and Drypoints of Venice and Amsterdam” will be on display at the museum, which will remain open until 6 p.m. for the celebration

The Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum in Lafayette, Louisiana is Acadiana's architectural landmark and the largest art museum on the gulf coast between Houston and New Orleans. The Museum features a variety of changing exhibitions and a continuing schedule of lectures and programs.
