How it works...
Wine Down is a unique Wine Tasting benefit for the 2009 Acadiana Wine Festival and the Paul
and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum.
For this, the first Wine Down, the highlighted wine will be...
Here's how it works...
You may form a team of up to three members and participate in the wine tasting competition.
Each team selects a Pinot
Noir from
a particular winery to present.
Each attendee, or team of up to 3 attendees, is required to bring
3 identical bottles of the wine of their choosing.
It's 3 bottles total per team, and teams can consist of 1 to 3 people.
A group of 4 people,
for example, would be considered 2 teams; thus,
they will need to bring 6 bottles to enter the event.
When your team arrives at the museum with their identical bottles,
two will be bagged, tagged, and offered to
the attendees for blind tasting and scoring.
The majority of the third bottles will go into the pot to be
awarded to the winning teams.
At the conclusion of the festivities the
scores are tallied, the winners are recognized
and awarded the pot to split while the lowest scoring wine is returned
to its rightful owner
to take home.
Wine Down extravaganza will take place in the beautiful Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum.
Team Entry Fee is $25 per person. Click here to buy tickets! It will
sell out fast! Participation in Wine Down is
limited. For
this, the first Wine Down, the highlighted wine
will be Pinot
Noir.
